At the Office Christmas Party Katie Chandler finally managed to get Owen, the guy she wanted, under the mistletoe. However the events at the Christmas party of Magic, Spells and Illusions Inc helped both of them get the courage to do something about their feelings but now they have to build something out of it. That is where Katie's fairy godmother thinks she can help. Ethelinda pops up and starts waving her magic wand around but Katie doesn't want any help now that Owen and Katie know how they feel about each other.

In the meantime, Ari, Katie's ex-friend and evil fairy, has escaped and must be up to something somewhere. With the nasty wizard Idris spotted in places he shouldn't be there is definitely something magical going on that needs to be stopped. That means Katie has to step in again and use her immune abilities to help save the day. However this time it may not go as planned. Can Katie save the day again or will it be third time unlucky for her?

Damsel Under Stress is the third book in the Katie Chandler series and it was just as good as the first two books. With the characters becomming even more lovable with each story and the stories even more magical it is hard not to like this series. Fun, fluffy and fantastic fantasy this is chicklit with lots of magic to spice things up.

I am looking forward to finding out what happens to Katie next. Especially with that ending....

I love this series and I was so sad that the fifth book hasn't been published yet. The publisher is waiting to see how the sales are on the first four before deciding to buy the fifth one. And there's definitely a cliffhanger in the four novel!

This sounds like a fun series and a fun twist on the old office holiday party fling.

I've been meaning to read this series. One of my online reading groups were reading one of them but my library didn't have it at the time.
